Using virtual reality, video, flash movies and a host of down to earth downloads, it’s the UK’s essential guide to what really happens behind the barriers of a quarry! Kids can drive the truck yourself right into our super-safe quarry and talk to the manager, set off an explosion and explore the full story behind a modern British quarry.
Aimed at teachers and their young pupils, but there’s bound to be something of genuine interest for you too. This site was Nominated for a Webby Award the year after we designed it, which is the Internet equivalent of an Oscar… and recognition doesn’t get any better than a Webby!
